Alan Rickman regresa a Broadway!!

regresa a Broadway con esta nueva comedia. La comedia se centra en cuatro jovenes escritores que están
participando en un seminario privado impartido por el brillante pero impredecible
Leonard (Rickman), una leyenda literaria internacional.
Pero como Leonard considera a algunos estudiantes más prometedores
que otros, surgen tensiones, el sexo se utiliza como un arma, y las alianzas se hacen y se rompen.

La obra se representará a partir del 27 de octubre a la espera de la inauguración oficial
el 20 de noviembre.

taught by the brillant but unpredictable Leonard (Rickman), an international literary
legend. But as Leonard deems some students more promising than others, tensions arise,
sex is used as a weapon, and alliances are made and broken.

The play beginning performances on October 27 in anticipation of an official opening
on November 20.

“Seminar” ¿Nueva obra en Broadway?

Aún no hay confirmación oficial pero se sabe que Alan Rickman está en conversaciones para regresar a Broadway con una nueva obra de teatro: “Seminar” en la que cuatro jóvenes escritores están encantados de participar en un seminario privado impartido por el brillante pero impredecible Leonard (Mr. Rickman), una leyenda literaria internacional. Pero como Leonard considera a algunos estudiantes más prometedores que otros, surgen tensiones. El sexo se utiliza como un arma, las alianzas se crean y se rompen, y no es sólo el juego de palabras que se vuelve vicioso …

Although we know that Mr. Rickman is negotiating his return to Brodway  in a new play “Seminar” Four young writers are thrilled to be participating in a private seminar taught by the brilliant but unpredictable Leonard (Mr. Rickman), an international literary legend.  But as Leonard deems some students more promising than others, tensions arise.  Sex is used as a weapon, alliances are made and broken, and it’s not just the wordplay that turns vicious…

Severus Snape el personaje favorito de Harry Potter.

El 15 de Julio fue el estreno mundial de la última pelicula de Harry Potter, y días antes Alan Rickman asistia a las premieres de Londres y NY.
En la primera, los fans le sorprendieron cantando “Snape, Snape, Severus Snape” a su llegada a la alfombra roja y el no dudo en responder, enviando un beso a todos los allí congregados.
En NY la conocida cadena MTV propuso en su website una votación donde los fans de la saga tenian que elegir a su personaje favorito en todas las peliculas. ¿Adivinan quien ganó? ¡Sii! Alan Rickman con su personaje Severus Snape se llevó una enorme copa que le entregaron en directo.Desde RickmanClub felicitamos y agradecemos de corazón a Alan Rickman por su increible trabajo durante estos 10 años en las peliculas de Harry Potter.

15th July was the world premiere of the latest Harry Potter movie, and days before Alan Rickman attended the premieres in London and NY. In the first, the fans surprised to Alan chanting “Snape, Snape, Severus Snape” on his arrival at the red carpet and he don’t hesitate to respond, sending a kiss to all gathered there.
In NY the popular channel MTV proposed a vote on their website where fans of the series had to choose your favorite character in all movies. Guess who won? Yeeah! Alan Rickman, with his character Severus Snape won a huge cup that was handed in live.
RickmanClub want congratulate and thank of heart to Alan Rickman for his incredible work during these 10 years in the Harry Potter.

Alan Rickman escribe carta a la revista Empire.

Todo un caballero. Así podemos describir a Mr Rickman, después de leer la carta de despedida que ha enviado a la revista Empire.  Alan se despide emotivamente de la saga Harry Potter, que ha estado rodando durante más de 10 años, incluso dedica unas bonitas palabras al trío protagonista de los films así como a la escritora J.K. Rowling.
Personalmente nos encanta esta noticia ya que como todos saben Alan durante años ha rehusado hablar sobre su personaje en esta saga (por motivos evidentes) pero no ha dudado reconocer que le da cierta nostalgia terminar esta etapa de su vida profesional.

Adjuntamos la carta tal cual salió editada pero a continuación dejamos la traducción al Español.

“Acabo de regresar del estudio de doblaje donde he hablado a través del micrófono como Severus Snape por última vez.

En la pantalla había algunos flashbacks de Daniel, Emma y Rupert de hace diez años. Tenían 12 años. También he regresado hace poco de Nueva York, y cuando estuve ahí, vi a Daniel cantando y bailando (de forma brillante) en Broadway.

Parece haber pasado una vida en minutos.
Tres niños se han convertido en adultos desde que una llamada de Jo Rowling, con una pequeña pista, me persuadió que había más en Snape que un traje que nunca cambia, y que a pesar de que sólo tres de los libros estaban publicados en ese momento, ella mantenía toda la enorme pero delicada narrativa en las manos más firmes.

Es una necesidad antigua la de contar historias. Pero la historia necesita un buen narrador. Gracias por todo eso, Jo.”

A gentleman. We describe Mr Rickman, after reading the emotional farewell lettersent to Empire magazine.Alan says goodbye to Harry Potter saga, which has been running for over 10 years, he also devotes some nice words to the three protagonists of the films as well as author JK Rowling.
We personally love this story because as we all know Alan has for years refused to discuss his character in this saga (for obvious reasons) but hasn’t hesitated to acknowledge that gives him a certain sadness to say goodbye to this stage of his career.

Alan Rickman se une al rodaje de “Gambit”

Se ha conocido recienteente la noticia de que Alan Rickman ha aceptado uno de los papeles secundarios de la nueva pelicula escrita por los hermanos Coen. Nuestro actor favorito se unirá en cartel con sus compañeros y protagonistas, Colin Firth y Cameron Diaz. Tratará de dos ladrones que se ayudan de una camarera, para conseguir robar una estatua de valor incalculable a un multimillonario inglés, al que dará vida Rickman. Lo cómico viene a partir de que esa camarera tiene un gran parecido con la estatua y también con la difunta mujer del multimillonario. Aún no se conoce fecha de estreno.

We have recently learned the news that Alan Rickman has accepted one role in the new movie written by Coen´s  brothers. Our favorite actor will join the bill with his friends , Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz. Two thieves to help a waitress, to get to steal a priceless statue of an English billionaire, who will play Rickman. The comic comes from that waitress has a strong resemblance to the statue and the billionaire’s late wife. Still no release date.

¡Una genial noticia! John Gabriel Borkman, la obra de teatro que hizo regresar a nuestro hombre a los escenarios, ha sido un éxito rotundo en Dublín.  En cada sesión el elenco ha logrado poner en pie a los espectadores del Abbey Theatre gracias a su gran interpretación.
Ahora podrán disfrutar de esta maravilla en New York desde el 7 de Enero al 6 de Febrero de 2011, John Gabriel Borkman en BAM Theatre.

A great New! John Gabriel Borkman, the play did go back to our man on stage,has been a success in Dublin. Every day the cast has managed to lift the seats to the Abbey Theatre viewers thanks to its great performance.

Alan interpreta a un ex-gerente de banca, que dieciséis años antes de que de comienzo la obra, habia sido encarcelado por fraude financiero. Él se declara inocente. Borkman abandonó a su gran amor de Ella, y en su lugar se casó con su hermana gemela, Gunhild, “a cambio de“ mantener su puesto de gerente en el banco.  Ocho años después Borkman es un hombre solitario que vive en la planta superior de la casa como lobo enjaulado, pero todo se verá trastocado por el regreso de Ella…
Rickman Club ha podido viajar a Dublin para ver la obra y solo podemos decir que es fascinante. Fiona Shaw, Lindsay Duncan y por supuesto Alan Rickman brillan como estrellas sobre el escenario.

No you’re not dreaming! Our dear Alan Rickman has returned to the stage, with a magistal play.  John Gabriel Borkman by Henrik Ibsen.
Alan is a former bank-manager who, sixteen years before the play begins, has been imprisoned for financial fraud. He belives he wa innocent. Borkman deserted his great love Ella, and intead maried her twin Gunhild, “in rturn for” the post as  bank-manager.Eight years later, Borkman is a lonely man who lives on the top floor of the house as a caged lion, but everything will be disrupted with the Ella´s return.
Rickman Club has been able travel to Dublin to see the play and we can only say that it’s  fascinating. Fiona Shaw, Lindsay Duncan and, of course, Alan Rickman shine like stars on stage.

“La Canción del Almuerzo” ¿Nueva película de Alan Rickman?

In this days there is the news that our great actor may be involved in the project of a new movie that would star with his great friend, Emma Thompson.  The film in question would be “The Song of Lunch” in which Alan would play an editor, who is in a restaurant with a writer (Emma) with whom he has a long had romance. The plot revolves around this meeting and previous history of these two characters.

Still no Official confirmation by either parts but we hope that happens soon, since it would be wonderful to see Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson working together once again.

Alan Rickman en “Ayuda para Haiti”

It isn´t strange to find our favorite actor helping in charitable causes, and this time isn´t less.  Mr Rickman went to a concert that collect funds for Haiti (City destroyed by the earthquake on January 12) 3rd February.

No es extraño encontrar a nuestro actor favorito ayudando en causas beneficas, y está vez no es menos. Mr. Rickman asistió el día 3 de Febrero a un concierto que recaudó fondos para Haiti, ciudad asolada por el terremoto del pasado 12 de Enero.

Alan Rickman pre- nominado a los BAFTA

Exactly! Alan Rickman is nominted on the Long List like Suporrting Actor in the BAFTA Awards for his perfomance as Severus Snape in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

¡Exacto! Alan Rickman está nominado en la lista larga como mejor actor secundario en los premios BAFTA por su interpetación del Profesor Severus Snape, en Harry Potter y el Misterio del Principe.
